Letters to the Editor: Racists and antisemites have freedom of speech. So do decent people. We also have freedom of thought and expression. But when it comes to ideas that offend, which offend the majority of Americans, and which they don’t wish to hear about, then good people are left with the option to silence those who say what they really really want to hear. That’s censorship.

The author of this letter is a man I am pleased to live in a community of decent, law-abiding citizens, and would never do anything that might threaten their safety or that of their families.

While I am glad to be here in California, I have grave reservations about a state-run insurance pool. I would like to see an exchange of people (from both parties) that will not take the advantage in the current financial situation

Let us not forget the “big picture” and let’s be careful in ignoring the “little picture” and the “molehill picture” of the problems and solutions to these problems
Robert M. Stiles, Yuba City
I was very pleased to hear that you supported the city of Yuba City for a library. I was also pleased to hear you supported the city for a new police hall, parking lot, and library. I was also pleased to hear you supported the city for a new Yuba City Fire Station/Library. I was also pleased to hear you supported the city for new police and fire halls in Yuba City and for the police.
You can also make a difference in your home community as well. This is a letter to your brother in the City of Yuba City. It’s nice to have a letter from you to the sister in the City of Yuba City.
